It comes in handy when you can have Chrome, (or other browsers), automatically fill in forms you want to fill out online. Data such as name, address, email and phone can be entered without having to do so every time.
What can you do when a piece of that data changes?
Using Chrome as the example, you would open the browser, (Chrome), and click the three dots in the upper right corner. Click Settings, then scroll to the bottom of the page and click Advanced. Look for and click on Passwords and forms. Click Auto fill settings to add or edit existing data. There is also a section to save credit card information, however, we recommend against using that feature and enter the cc data each time. When finished, click Save. Done.
If you do not want any data saved and auto filled you can turn off the feature altogether by sliding the blue button on the top of the screen to the left.
