Outlook Cleanview

Using Outlook for your email can be very convenient, when it works as expected.  However, there are times when the program seems to have a mind of its own.  For example, Outlook will only download new email a day after they are sent!   This results in getting Monday’s email on Tuesday, etc.

To resolve this issue, and many other Outlook quirks, you need to close Outlook.  Click on the Start button and type in the Search bar Outlook.exe/cleanview.  Open Outlook again and your issue should be resolved.

Resetting the view in Outlook you will wipe out any custom views you setup earlier.  The default, or factory view settings, will be the result.  This action cleans up the file and allows Outlook to behave as it was intended.  If you do not use any custom views then this action will not affect you.
