When you attempt to print to your HP printer and you are enrolled in HP Instant Ink, you get an error message that tells you there is an account issue that has to be resolved in order to continue to print.
The problem is with the information within the account. Specifically the credit card either needs to be updated or replaced, an email address is no longer valid or other account data is incorrect or needs to be updated. To resolve this, you will need to access your HP Instant Ink account by entering the login credentials and update the information.
HP has really pushed people into the Instant Ink program with mixed results. You do not have to join the program if you want to continue buying your ink supplies at a retail store. Using the retail ink will avoid all issues with the Instant Ink program since you will not be part of it.
