When you type on the keyboard in a program and you only hear a clicking sound and NOTHING types on the screen. The issue has to do with an accessibility setting.
To resolve this issue, type the term accessibility in the Search box at the bottom of your screen. Click the option for Accessibility Keyboard Settings.
Next toggle off the Sticky keys and Filter keys options.
That’s it! Typing should work again.
