Computer Help in Heritage Village

For years, we have been the people Heritage Village residents call when a computer, phone, or printer stops cooperating. We make house calls right to your condo, explain everything in plain English, and never rush you.

Ask your neighbors. Odds are, we have already been to their place and sorted out the very thing you are dealing with now.

A Familiar Face at the Heritage Village Computer Club

You may already know us from the Heritage Village Computer Club. For years, we have helped open the club's monthly meetings with a short, no-pressure question-and-answer session, tackling whatever computer and device questions residents bring that day. It is one of the reasons so many of your neighbors already have our number.

The club meets in the Web Room inside the Activities Building, and it is a wonderful resource. When a problem needs a real house call, though, that is where we come in: at your kitchen table, on your schedule, for as long as it takes to get it right.

Staying Safe Online: Scams, Passwords, and Peace of Mind

Retirees are targeted by more scams than anyone else, from fake pop-ups warning your computer is infected to emails and phone calls asking for gift cards or account details. If something feels off, call us before you click, pay, or hand over any information. We will take a calm look, tell you plainly whether it is real, and help you tighten up passwords and settings so it is less likely to happen again. No judgment, no jargon.

Serving Every Corner of Heritage Village

Heritage Village is the largest active-adult community in the Northeast, with roughly 2,580 condominiums set in small, wooded clusters across about a thousand acres. That layout is part of its charm, and it means we are used to finding our way to every part of the community, from the homes near the 1740 Meeting House to the ones along the golf courses by the Pomperaug River.

We come to you, so there is no need to disconnect anything or drive out to a shop. You get the same patient, in-home help whether you are around the Activities Building or tucked away on a quiet cul-de-sac.

Heritage Village Computer Help: Common Questions

Do you come to my condo in Heritage Village?

Yes. We make house calls right to your door anywhere in Heritage Village, by appointment. There is no need to unplug anything or carry equipment out to your car.

Can you help me set up my new iPhone, iPad, or laptop?

Absolutely. New-device setup is one of our most common Heritage Village visits: transferring your photos and contacts, getting email and Wi-Fi working, and showing you how to use it at your own pace.

My printer won't connect. Can you fix it?

Yes. Printers that will not connect, Wi-Fi dead spots, and email problems are the everyday issues we sort out in person, usually in a single visit.

I got a scary pop-up or an email asking for money. Is it real?

Call us before you click or pay anything. Scams that target retirees are common, and we are glad to take a calm look, tell you whether it is real, and help you lock things down.

Are you connected to the Heritage Village Computer Club?

Yes. We have taken part in the club's monthly meetings for years, helping answer residents' computer and device questions. A lot of your neighbors already know us from there.

How much does a visit cost, and how do I book?

Our rate is $135 per hour, and we give you an estimate before we start. Just call Andy or James at (203) 262-1869 to set up a time.
